Product is nice looking and the size fit well with my Cabin. However, in less that two years the clock/timer/and backlight went out. Customer service was terrible when I called for help and offered no technical assistance. Also, I asked for help in how to adjust orifices for higher elevation and received no guidance for that either. My recommendation is to buy something less pretty that will work.

The top burners do not go low enough to "simmer." The oven temperature does not match the knob setting (about 25 degrees lower); the lowest temperature setting is 300 degrees; the oven turns off during the cooking process. For Thanksgiving, the oven shut off I believe four (4) times, making a 3 - 4 hour roast take much longer to cook.Spend a few extra dollars and buy a name brand such as GE, et cetera, do not waste your money on Avanti.

I like the style of the stove, the placement of the large burner upfront, the drawer underneath, the low profile back, the oven interior lights, the nice heavy grills. The oven is smaller inside than my old 24" (possibly more insulation?) and I had to get new roasting and baking pans to fit. The temperature on the dial is lower than what my free-standing thermometer registers. I had to get used to the fact that the oven door has to be in full open position when you turn the oven on. The dial lights were too neon bright for me so I turned them off with a button on the clock unit. The stove was purchased 14 months ago and installed two months later, i.e., the one-year warranty expired two months ago. Now the clock/timer and the dial light for the big burner have gone out together and the blue lights on the other dials came on. This can't be fixed by me: I have to order a replacement unit and have a repairman come. Without it, there is no clock/timer and no control of the dial lights, so I'm stuck with the blue lights. Doing the repair isn't worth it. And fortunately I don't cook a lot. If you do, I don't think I'd recommend this.

I moved into a new apartment this summer. Everything is brand new. I have a great Samsung fridge and an awesome LG HE washer-dryer set. I was equally excited for this really swish-looking range, because I love to cook.Unfortunately, as mentioned in several other reviews, the charm of this range ends at its looks. There is no pre-heat alarm to tell you when the oven has reached temperature. The stovetop burners don't get hot enough to sear, nor low enough to simmer. One of the burners always takes several frustrating attempts to get it to light. The oven constantly shuts itself off during cooking, not just in the "maintaining temperature" way, but OFF, and will go cold if left. This means that even when it IS working, I find myself opening the oven door to constantly check if it's still lit... losing temperature each time, so even simple things take way longer than they should to cook. I wound up having to invest in a digital oven thermometer just to be able to keep an eye on whether it's lit without opening up the door repeatedly.I am stuck with this piece of crap because I am a renter. But if you are researching ovens, do yourself a big favor and skip this one, no matter how pretty in may be.

The Avanti is a terrible oven. It does not display the temperature digitally, and it does not even beep when the desired temperature is reached. You have no way of knowing when the right temperature is reached. Or if. When you reduce the temperature, the oven sometimes switches off completely. I bought two thermostats to to keep in the oven, so if you have to open the door and peer in to see what they say. They are off from on another by 50 degrees, on different sides of the oven. You can't even use two shelves at the same time - top shelf stays cool, bottom shelf burns.The four burners give little range between high and low. The basic burner setting is meh. You cannot char on high heat and you cannot simmer gently on super low heat. Terrible product.
