Electronics workbench. I've been through several cheaper magnifying lamps, some CFL / some LED, that all let me down in various ways: poor optics, plastic lenses, quickly failed ballasts, dimmer than rated LEDs, broken springs. Fed up, I spent the extra $$ for this. This an excellent magnifying lamp: large glass lens, decent magnifying, quality optics, great working distance, easy to move and stays put. It would be nicer if lighting would return to preference when switched back on. Note: brightness and color are integrated. To get max brightness both color needs to be toward warm LEDs and brightness max to both 'yellow' and 'blue' LEDs are at full. I have a stereoscope for SMD work, but this is my goto for 80% of my work for these old eyes.

This is my second Aven Magnifying Lamp. My brand loyalty didn't disappoint. The Mighty Vue Pro allows the color temperature and brightness to be adjusted for each task needs. The full brightness settings are higher than I need for most tasks and I can tune the lamp in ways that helps avoid eye strain during long working sessions. I am even more satisfied than I was by my last Aven and that says a lot.

The issue with this product was the fact that it was a returned unit that was sold as new. The package inside the box was taped up to hold the product and when opened the arm which was under spring tension flew open when the tape was cut. Inside parts were broken and disassembled and what was supposed to be in plastic bags were not and the bags were stuffed into the plastic cut outs. Very disappointed with the condition of the product for an expensive item!

Love the lighting on this. You can adjust business of the warm colored LEDs bright white LEDs separately to suit your personal needs.

I like the warm/cool LEDs of this lamp and the lens quality is ok for the price range.After three years of use, however the mechanical bits are showing signs of wear. The joints will slip a few inches here and there, enough to be annoying when trying to position the lamp.For the manufacturer, I would spend more on a lamp that:(1) The joints would not slip for at least five, preferably ten years(2) Would remember the warm/cool LED settings and had a provision for "locking" them.(3) Had the option to upgrade to a better lens when purchased. I realize not everyone has the same needs.Thanks!

The light level resets to a medium brightness each time you turn it on. For me this is very disappointing. Was going to give it 3 stars, but everything else about this light is great! Nice magnifier, light coverage is great, styling is very clean, and sturdy.So if having the light not remember the lighting level isn't important to you then 5 stars. If it is important to you then 3 stars. My previous Aven light doesn't have variable lighting and has been a great lamp and is the reason I bought this new one. Was going to put my old one in my garage workbench but now thinking I'll put the new one out and keep the older one in my office.

With my aging eyes, I needed a magnifying lamp for my work desk. This product, along with the table top mounting bracket works just perfectly. I only wish the adjustable arms were a tad bit tighter.

I use it next to my workstation at home. I can examine circuits, and easily read small print that my 50 year old eyes might otherwise struggle to discern. As a side benefit, it has nice controls for intensity and temperature of light, which I routinely use as a light source for Zoom and Teams calls. I'm happy with the purchase.

Very happy with the purchase. Quality seems very good. Perfect for modeling. I really like the hability to adjust the temperature of the light. Allows you to find the right shade for painting. I just wish it would retain the settings when you turn it off. Overall a good buy.
