This is a very cute little kit. I bought it for my 6 year old granddaughter. I'm looking forward to helping her put it together. She loves her "stuffies" and making crafts so I think she'll love this. The fabric is a nice quality and the pieces are precut with all the holes punched, ready for sewing. The instruction sheet is very clear and concise.

I ordered this for my 6-year-old granddaughter and I to make together. I am a seamstress by trade, and she is always interested in what I am making or working on. I am so glad that she is showing an interest in sewing. She is presently making felt stuffed animals from a kit and she really seems to enjoy doing it. She does sometimes get frustrated, but that's when she needs help or needs to take a break from doing it.When I saw this panda and baby kit listed, I thought it would be perfect for a more advanced project in the future for us to work on. This is not a kit you would just give a young child to do by themselves. They will definitely need guidance from an adult.I opened the cute canister that it comes in and checked to make sure that all the components were there. Everything seems to be there, but I did notice that on one of the main white body pieces, the fur section in a small area has separated from the backing material is attached to. It looks like it is still usable, but we will have to be careful when we come to sewing that area. I might even be able to use some fabric glue to reattach the fur to the backing, before trying to sew it. All the pieces do have the pre-punched holes in them, they are just a little more difficult to see on the fur pieces. It only comes with one plastic needle, so be careful not to lose it. Also, another thought, it would be nice if it came with a needle threader, like the kit she is working on now. I know that it can be pretty tricking, threading embroidery floss that has many plys of thread to it.There are step by step diagrams for constructing it, that seem pretty straight forward. There are no written instructions, which is ok, because sometimes they do not translate well from another language.When we do sew this adorable panda and baby, together, I will add a photo to this review. Also, if we should run into any complications, I will post that too.I am looking forward to working on this project with my granddaughter.

This product is definitely not for children 6 and older. Additionally, the directions are terrible and don't go through each step. Product is cute, but someone who is an experienced seamstress is required for the fine details.

We think the product is cute, but didn't come with the safety needle. Going to hope a regular needle will work, will have be very careful. If the tread fits in the eye.

I got this for my daughter who enjoys doing crafts together. It's a cute little project that will result in a toy she can snuggle and play with. I plan to give it to her as a gift and I look forward to helping her make it. It seems fairly easy to put together.

This is a nice beginners sewing kit. It comes with everything you need to get your little up and sewing without risking injury. My 6 year old loved it!
