This color is nearly impossible to find in my local stores. Amazon has saved the day yet again! Not only do they have the product I was looking for, but they have a price that can't be beat. Avery labels are the best labels for the money. They never get jammed in your printer and they adhere to your files the way labels should. If you've ever purchased off-brand labels, you may have encountered the problem of them not sticking very well. I have never had that problem with Avery products. You will want to spend the few pennies more for the quality you always get with Avery.

I use these in different colors at work and wanted to get the purple ones for at home. I love them for easy projects such as labels for taxes or other work/receipts. Holds ink well, at least for me, and they stick pretty well. If you try to remove them and hope they stick perfectly, try again...you might need tape.

I have been ordering these for years for the office and they work great for what I need them for. I have bought others that aren’t as good as these.

Every year we have to shell out for a few SILVER sharpies, but not this year! These will not only label my files, but I will now use them for students who bring black binders to class so I don't have to shell out for silver or metallic Sharpies!

These are great labels. No issues with Quality and Utility. Value is good, but not great. I have found them to cost less in some Retail Stores (such as WalMart and Target).

At my law firm, we still use the old school filing system of having colour coded file folders for each year, typed out on an old IBM Selectrix (our clerks are very set in their ways after having been there for decades!), and going through storage, you'll see a sea of rainbow coloured file labels on our files. In recent years, however, it seems like the usual office supply stores only stock these labels in red, green and blue, which gets kind of boring after a while, and can cause confusion when there are older files active that happen to have the same colour as a current year. I'm not sure if the other "rare" colours (orange, purple, yellow, brown, etc.) were just unpopular and Avery stopped making them, or stores just stopped stocking them. Regardless, this purple is my fave, and I'm glad to find it on Amazon, although NOT glad to see the premium charged for this rarity, especially when the same size in the regular red, green and blue, retail for about $3.
