The Avery Half Sheet Printable Shipping Labels are a game-changer for anyone needing a reliable labeling solution. The quality of the labels is outstanding; they are thick and sturdy, which prevents tearing during the printing process. The adhesive is strong, ensuring that they stick securely to various surfaces, from cardboard boxes to envelopes.Printing on these labels is a breeze. They feed smoothly through my printer, and the templates available on Avery’s website make designing labels quick and easy. The ink dries rapidly, preventing smudging, which is a huge plus for professional presentations.I also appreciate the clear finish, which provides a professional look to my shipping packages. Overall, these labels offer excellent value and performance, making them ideal for home offices or small businesses. I highly recommend them for anyone needing high-quality shipping labels!

I started selling a large comic book collection on eBay last month. Suddenly finding myself running a small shipping operation out of my spare bedroom, I needed high quality shipping labels that would work with the prepaid USPS options provided. These print perfectly every time on my HP laser printer, hold toner without fading, are thick, adhere strongly, and don't fall off. I'm going to stick with this brand and product number as long as I need labels.

I came back to these because the others were subpar. The other ones I tried would tear at the seam. Only the Avery are thick enough and strong enough to stay whole when the back is removed to adhere.

I worked as a quality manager in paper manufacturing and this product meets my standards. The paper has high opacity so it hides everything underneath it. The release liner (the label backing that peels away) has good tensile strength which means it does not pull apart. The adhesive is applied well and is high quality. The paper has the correct moisture content and therefore does not curl when heated during the laser printing process. The papers surface has been properly coated so that ink does not smudge.I do a moderate amount of eBay and amazon shipping. I printed paper labels and then used 3 feet of tape putting the labels on the packages. Those days are over. For about 20 cents per label you can easily print these labels and then it is "peel and stick". I shopped other cheaper labels but the 2 - 3 cents savings does not seem worth curly and poorly sticking labels.I fed these via my Brother 7860DW laser's manual feed slot. This slot sends the paper through its normal path which means they fed and handled like regular paper with no jams or delamination. I was also able to use the duplexing feature to print the receipt on the backside of the label. Even though the backside is release liner and not paper it accepted the laser toner just fine. This is a great cost savings on label stock and paper.June 11 2013: Still working great, no issues with peeling loose, no smudges, no jams.August 17 2013: Tip for USPS; Get the instructions or receipt not to print by adjusting the margins so that the instructions are forced onto a second page and then set the page range for just the first page. I had issue of the label not printing entirely on one label (half the page) and this fixes it in all circumstances.Tip: These labels are two up on one sheet and the sheet is perforated in the middle. So if you tear the sheet in two you can feed each label separately and avoid the problem of printing the instructions.

If Avery ever discontinued these, I'd picket their front office. A worthwhile cost for anyone who does a lot of UPS/Fedex shipping. Nice, sturdy stock and the labels stick really well. Works well with your every day office printer (can speak from experience) and print quality is perfect. They don't come off easily but that's a plus. Gimme more.

These labels work great and are a bit cheaper than at the office supply store.

These labels work well in a laser printer. Be careful to make sure that the print lines up with the two labels on each sheet. Use a plain paper to check this. For some packages, I tape the edges to make sure the lable does not come off.

No me gusto como queda la impresión, se ve de calidad baja el papel. Aunque si funciona en impresora injekt, no se corre la tinta y seca instantáneo

These are the thick and sticky ones everyone wishes they bought. The other Avery shipping labels are thin and tear really easily. I found it worth spending a few extra bucks on these... Oh, and don't waste your time and money on the other brands... they are terrible and don't stick at all. I learned that lesson the hard way... I lost expensive items in the mail with those.

Not sure why other reviews say the label adhesive is weak. I've had no problems. In fact when I tried to get a wrong label off a box I couldn't.

good enough but I wish it sticks better.

The labels barely stick. I don't know if we got an old batch or what but the generic labels we usually buy work much better.
