Very nice quality binders. I wouldn't have thought that the "one touch EZD ring" would make much of a difference, but it does. It probably wouldn't matter for smaller/thinner binders, but for something that is going to be heavy and a ton of pages, it really helps! It actually does hold more that the standard round ring style and it's a lot easier to load, unload, and flip through. It's kinda pricy for a binder, but since it's so nice and sturdy, it'll probably last for ages, and in any case, we're willing to pay a little more for a binder to not have to pick up 300 pieces of paper and re-sort them after picking up a binder that gives out.

i bought these for my sewing patterns and instructions. i print out the sewing instructions, from a commercial printer, have them three-hole punched and have them shipped to me, they get put in the binder so it takes all the guess work and confusion out of where i put my pattern instructions. i'm TRYING to make them work for patterns, but i need a different kind of envelope for them i'll be on the look out. but for my instructions? fantastic.i'll need another one for my bibling. it will keep project ideas, fabric swatches, and notes for my the projects. it's a good way to keep things organized even if you're not a very organized person. these have become my best friend and will be buying more in the future

I bought this binder to split up a book into three sections, because the two that I had were overflowing. This was the perfect size to make it easier to read all these pages. Sometimes bigger really is better!

Binder seems to be well made. Nice and sturdy. I was looking for an easy open binder that I can open easily and quietly. This is not it.

Used these binders to reorganize my recipes by categories. It's nice to be able to have my whole collection together and easy to find.

The size is great for storing my cling rubber stamps. Got one at Walmart and it had more Avery stickers on it then the Amazon buyer ones. Also once I was putting things in realized some of the seams where opening. I taped them. Makes me wonder if these were used or 2nds. Why 5*? I am reviewing the item which I love. Avery makes a great binder. I find they last longer with regular use then the cheaper brands. Easy to open and close. Has the extra front & back pockets that I put my Peachy Keen full sheet clear stamps in. Like the clear front and back to put content samples in. The buyer on the other hand not so happy with but I didn't use them very soon after getting them and I didn't want the hassle of exchange. I was in the middle of a project and wanted it done then. Not later.

I read some of the other reviews and know that some people had trouble with the rings closing tightly. Mine work just fine and I absolutely LOVE the "D" binder and the EZ open tab! Both great improvements over the old ways. For those of you that haven't used the EZ open rings - Literally it's one-finger opening. No more pressing with one hand and trying to pry the rings open with the other hand. And the "D" ring is secured to the back of the binder so you're not constantly ripping the paper from the ring every time you open and close the binder. If you've never tried a "D" ring and the EZ tab, take my advice and splurge. The little extra you spend will give you a very good products that keeps things neat and tidy.I got the 4" binder...I homeschool and it's very helpful to have the larger binder. Now that I've tried one, I'll be buying another one to begin organizing my genealogy papers and pictures.

These are my go to binders. I love the durability, reliability and the rubberized ring to open the rings. However, on some of them, the binder rings don't mesh perfectly in the middle where they meet. This makes it hard to turn pages, slows you down, and can even risk tearing pages a little. For such a high premium price, it would be nice if Avery did something about that. It's been going on for a least a year or two.
