The hole reinforcement stickers have plenty of stickiness to them to hold onto the paper very well and are very strong so they will not tear through. If the hole in your paper is extremely damaged so there isn't as much paper to hold on to, then place a hole reinforcement on each side on the paper to make the repair very strong. I would recommend these hole reinforcements and would purchase again.

I have a lot of old sheet music from concerts that I played in the past and might play again, but the pages started to come apart. These little stickers are great--my self-made "albums are all neat and sturdy again.
