This is a nice little capture/streamer card for game capture and as an output for consoles, so far it has worked great with an HDMI splitter. The housing on this is all metal, and it feels like it is tough and not going to break, which is nice because as much as this costs, you want it wrapped in steel.This isn't just great for consoles, it is great for cameras as well. Definitely a high-quality device and the product works flawlessly.

I have a bunch of different video capture devices - some AJA 4k/12G-SDI thunderbolt stuff that is very good, some no-name other stuff that crappy. Sometimes you just want a little box. BMD Thunderbolt 3 Recorder does a lot of stuff very well, but this card can do other stuff the BMD recorder can't and doesn't need stupid Blackmagic software so that is cool. Also works on any USB 3.0+ PC or Mac. Downside is that this needs power cycling if you're doing longer recordings. Cheaper than the Magewell and AJA USB 3.0 cards. Works immediately and shows up on MS Teams unlike BMD box

I purchased this video card thinking that the higher price and robust construction would equate to a more reliable and resilient device that I would be able to use for many years going forward.. buy nice or buy twice!Fast forward 3-4 months and here I am using the 20 dollar cheapo video card, which transmits a visibly low quality picture- but is still working flawlessly as advertised. Meanwhile, the AVMATRIX card sits on my shelf as I repeatedly try to get ahold of customer support (which has proven to be even more difficult than purchasing a functional video card!)I would really appreciate some customer service here.. either a replacement item, or a store credit resolution.I know there are bugs or random quality issues in electronic devices.. but it’s the lack of solutions to that is the bigger issue to me. Super disappointed in this product until I’m able to find some sort of recompense here.A $200 video card should last decades, not week.

The built quality is excellent. I love the fact that you don’t need to plug it to an electricity port. Somehow it get its power either from the hdmi or sdi port. I used a Sony fs5 with both sdi and hdmi with no issues at all. I connected it to my MacBook Pro M1 with the usb-c and both OBS and Ecamm worked flawlessly.I will definitely recommend it

I was able to shoot high-speed video footage. I projected my video to the big screen and saved it on my computer. Although it is a small and light device in any weather temperature, it does a good job. No need for electricity because it takes its power from HDMI or SDI. This is a plus feature.
