This neat tool works a treat on avocados and does a thorough job of getting all of the avocado out of the shell in mostly neat slices. I had to press down on a few spots to get it all through the slicing area, and since the tool's plastic I didn't hurt my fingers at all, though I'm still careful around the knife end. I bought it for avocados since I used to use grapefruit spoons to scoop out the pulp, but now that I'm looking at the Amazon page for it, I see it might also work well for other fruits too, and I look forward to trying that out. It cleans up easily--I just tossed in in my dishwasher.

Works as expected. Nice color, good quality plastic. Easy to clean. However, I have one from the dollar store that is almost exactly the same and works just as well. I would’ve liked if this one came with a little instruction sheet with pictures. I’d say most people know how to use these tools, but it’s important to provide instructions to consumers, if you want people to be fully satisfied.
