I love this tool and find so many versatile uses for it. To start, it is probably the best avocado tool I have ever used. I got my first one more than 10 years ago at the Fallbrook avocado festival. It was plastic and lasted me almost 10 years. I so loved it and when I finally broke it, I was disappointed.Thankfully, as just about everything in life, I went to Amazon and found my replacement. Not only a replacement, it’s in aluminum so it’s an enhanced replacement🤘 I love it, it can trim all sorts of fruits and vegetables. It is my go to Kiwi and mango tool that’s for sure.

We received a plastic version of this tool from a grocery store a while back and found that it became an essential avocado tool! It cuts, it scoops, It takes the pit out. It’s amazing!! since the plastic one was breaking after so much use I decided to upgrade to this metal one and plan to be using it for a long time to come.

This product arrived with very sharp edges.... so much so that you cannot hold it in your hand comfortably while using it as the sharp edge cuts into your skin. The handle edge is unfinished and still needed to be deburred.

I wanted to replace my plastic avacado slicer with a metal one, and while this one does that, it is very easy to get avacado all over my hands and and it cut my skin a bit, not badly, when I used it on a not quite ripe avacado! Still looking for better option.
