This is such a great quality background. I was a little hesitant to buy because I expected a cheap piece of plastic like you would buy at a pet store but this is actually a fabric type material. The picture is so clear and looks great on my fish tank.

I was worried that it wouldn't be bright and the design would be really faded because of other reviews. But it's definitely still vibrant. Not as vibrant as the picture that's provided because that one is the digital copy. It's a cloth like material and I imagine the tape provided should work but I'm inclined to use additional tape to ensure it stays secure. There was one unfortunate drawback. It was not the 36 inch length I ordered. It's only 35 and a half. While not much, it is enough to leave space on either side of the design. Hopefully I'll have some plants in the corners to cover the gap.

I'm not sure how I'm going to put it in the enclosure, but it is REALLY pretty-- extremely vibrant.

The screen is listed as 18"x30". It is not, the screen is smaller, about 17"x28" or a little less. Too small for a fish tank with measurements of 18"x30". Also, the material is not the best quality, a thin fabric type stuff with creases from being folded. This screen is junk and useless. Not sure how it worked for anyone. I never leave reviews, but figured this might save someone the hassle of having to deal with a return and then finding another one. If you have an aquarium store, Petco, PetSmart, just go there. Waste of time

Nice piece. It would be nice to see more detail but these "cloth" backgrounds seemed to have that washed out look.
