Your cart is empty.Plumb Bobs are one of the simplest tools to establish a perfect vertical line or plumb line. Our set comes with 2 precision made All Brass Plumb Bobs (16 oz and 8 oz). Each plumb bob comes with 2 replaceable steel tips (one is hidden in cap), for a total of 4 steel tips. Both sizes use the same interchangeable caps and tips, making switching sizes quick and easy. Our Retractable Line Reel comes with approximately 14 feet of bright orange braided nylon cord, rare earth magnets to attach the reel to steel or iron and a fold out bracket to hang the reel on a nail, screw or tack. To attach the cord to the plumb bob, just remove the screw in cap; thread the cord through the center opening; knot it and reattach cap to plumb bob. The nylon cord pulls easily out of the reel. Press the locking lever once to hold the cord in place. Press the locking lever again to release the cord. When done the line will self retract into the reel. As a bonus, our kit includes a Specialty Pencil Sharpener designed for cutting carpenters pencils and 2 pencils to get you started. All this packaged in an attractive, durable, zippered protective case.

Was kind of already getting hung up after only about two weeks of using it granted I might’ve pulled on it a little too hard at one point I think so it has a hard time retracting Well these guys ended up seeing my comment it is sending me a new one just to back their stuff I’m not one that asked for things for free or go through I’m trying to get stuff for free but honestly hands-downThese guys are amazing and customer service let alone the plumbob kid is freaking amazing super accurate honestly can’t find a better one on the market my boss was so amazed by how good mine was I need up buying one for him forChristmas and he is just tickled pink it’s almost so nice you don’t even want to use it LOL but honestly thank you for standing behind your productWill definitely be purchasing more and sticking to this brand

The plumb bobs themselves are an excellent value. The retractable line was closer to 12' than 14', as listed. Therefore, it didn't work for the job for which it was purchased without additional longer line reel purchase. Would like to see a 30'- 40' retractable reel.

This was better than I expected. The weights are heavy and feel very high quality, the string retractor is simple to use. This should be great for general around the home type use.

Everything in this kit is high quality. I have used it already and I love the storage pouch. It holds all the items perfectly and fits in any drawer in my tool chest. An excellent product.

Pullback string got tangled inside on my first use, I couldn’t pull the string out and the pullback spring couldn’t pull the string in.The magnetic parts on the pullback string are also mediocre at best.Everything else is good and with all the issues it is still workable.
