We needed something quick and easy to hold the boat. Top boot secured during travel. Used it on two trips. Works great

I recently used these to secure some lumber in the back of my pickup truck and it worked great. I combined two of them to reach as far as I needed and they were great at combining and attaching. I really like the buckle portion has a cover as to not scratch up your items or car. Great little utility straps! I wouldn't recommend them for larger loads but they are great for just securing things.

Note that this strap, not including any part of the buckle, is 95 inches long, just shy of 8 feet so you won’t be able to bind an 8 foot diameter bundle. As long as you recognize the length and don’t need anything longer, this is a very good product. I have longer straps and wanted something shorter so this is just right for me. The strap is 0.07 inch thick and feels quite thick and strong. I like that the free end is cut off at a taper. That makes it very easy to thread it through the cam buckle. The cam buckle holds the strap very well. I wrapped it around a box full of magazines and was able to pick up the box without the strap slipping in the buckle. Another nice feature is the short bit of strapping directly beneath the metal buckle. That will protect your load from getting scratched by the buckle. This also comes with a hook and loop strap to hold the lashing strap together when it’s rolled up. The holding strap is loose so my only concern is what you do with it when the lashing strap is in use. In my case it will only be a matter of time before I lose the binding strap. And in fact, the binding strap slipped off the wound lashing strap when I was trying to put it away. Don’t buy this for the hook and loop strap! There are creative ways of wrapping these cam-buckle straps so you don’t need anything else to secure the wrapped strap: e.g.1. run the loose end of strap under the cam, up behind the cam buckle and leave about 4-6 inches sticking out, more if you have a large roll of a long strap2. starting at the far end (which will be a loop now), roll the strap toward the buckle3. once the strap is rolled up tight to the bottom of the cam, wrap the loose end around the roll, up through the cam, and tighten it. That should hold the roll securely. Overall, this is just exactly what I wanted and needed. The length is fine for my uses, the cam buckle holds well, and the strap seems tough. I recommend this product.

This is a good inexpensive option as a strap for strapping things down on the roof rack of a car.The buckle has a good grip, and feels like I can taught the strap enough for safe travel on the roads. I would probably only use these for quick trips on surface streets. I would probably opt for a ratcheting type strap if I were to drive longer distances or on the freeway for some distance. The strap just under the metal buckle is slightly wider than the rest of the strap - it seems this is done to protect the car surfaces from damage from the buckle. Should prevent damage if the user is also taking a little care to prevent scratching the car.The straps come with double sided hook and loop straps to secure them for storage. I found if you reverse the hook and loop strap so that the fuzzy side faces out, it's a bit more convenient. This is because the hook side tends to grab the carpet inside the car, whereas the fuzzy loop side does not.Overall, this is a good set of straps to keep permanently in the car for those moments you need to carry something on the roof rack.

Replacement straps for mounting our kayaks to the top of the car. When properly weaved through the buckle, (which seems to be good quality), these do not slip. Spring seems to be of higher quality than my old Malone straps. Rivet holding the spring loaded buckle in place appears to be well set and good quality. Easy to weave, unlike some others that don't give you enough room to push the strap through. The straps are thick so they have a little rigidity, also making it easier to weave. Just long enough that I don't have a lot left over to try and figure out what to do with the extra. Also like the slightly longer "flap" on the back to prevent scratching of the car's paint. Stitching is well done with no loose ends. End of the strap is heat sealed to prevent fraying. Very pleased.

Im using these to strap a battery to my Electric bike and they work pretty well. the heads of the straps are actually metal and the teeth are pretty sharp to keep a good grip on the strap so it doesnt slip when theres alot of weight. These are also nice and long so they are able to wrap all the way around my bike rack. only few cons ill mention is that actual material the straps are made of feel a little cheap but not to bad and theres no ratchet mechanic on it so its really a pull fit to secure it. overall not bad though and id recommend.
