I called Hornblasters before I purchase the compressor and was very pleased with all the information that was shared with me over the phone. The person I talked to was very helpful and polite. The compressor is a beast, made in Taiwan looks to be very high quality.

So far it is working well. I have it mounted under the truck. The only issue may be with the relay they include. I put RTV in the bottom connection of it, as to help keep as much water out as possible, along with putting dielectric grease on the electrical connection between the relay and holder. So far this is working and I have had no electrical issues. This product could be made better by having a weather proof relay assembly. It is a little louder, a bit bigger, and much quicker than the Viair compressor it replaced.

Their spec claims 0 to 200 psi in 5:14. I measured mine, properly installed, and it took 15:19. That's more than 10 minutes longer than they advertise. This product is MUCH slower than the ARB which has real-world performance claims. DO NOT BUY the Air-Zenith. Buy the ARB. My buddy's ARB fills his tank (to 150psi) in under 5 minutes.

I bought my first OB2 back in 2012. Got just under 2 years before it started to fail. AZ replaced my unit no questions at the time. I was happy they accommodated me, fast forward till about 8 months ago when the pump started to not work AGAIN. (by the way i only use this for an aux tank for trailer tires and an air horn) by now everything was our of warranty, so i pulled it apart to investigate. check valve was torn, cyl walls were in rough shape, diaphragm was all cracked and split. Now the heat from the thing running had completely welded all of the rubber o rings to the metal making them all non reusable. So i compile a list and sent them an email. this is the list i get back from them.3x Motor O-Ring $10/ea. x 3 = $302x Cylinder O-Ring $10/ea. x2 = $201x Reed Valve $251x OB2 Cylinder $301x OB2 Check Valve $201x Reed Valve Saddle Plate Upper $151x Reed Valve Saddle Plate Lower $15 reed valve saddle plate $15/ea.You do the math. I may as well just buy a whole new one.I have not replaced it with anything yet. Still not sure which route to go. nobody seems to make a pump that stands up to the times.
