Looks very detailed, the overall feeling is durable and kinda hefty for the size of it. Feels like great quality and the whistle! The whistle sounds so scary very nice craftsmanship displayed here. Packaging was considerate as well they wrapped it in bubble wrap and prevented movement of the instrument as well as a nice page of information on history and techniques to play it as well! Very worth the price as some may go for triple digit dollars.

This thing is super cool, it is very well made and has super fine details. It's also fully functional, I scared the bejesus out of my wife when I gave it a try when she wasn't expecting it. It looks like it came out of a museum and it works as it should. If you need an Aztec death whistle this is your place. Would recommend!

Absolutely fell in love with this thing three times! Once was the first time I saw it... Twice was when I got it. Thrice is when I tried it!!Practice your breathing techniques, and work on building some powerful lungs and this thing could be heard for quite a distance!!Our 16 year old is going through teenager phases, and fell in love with this at first sight, also...Holidays are a great excuse for an awesome gift like this!!Thank you for your attention to details!!

I ordered 2 (1 as a gift and the other for quick sound effect) they are both solid and very loud. I picked them up in San Diego, gave 1 to my sister there and went into Mexico with the other one. People wanted to buy it from me, so I directed them to Amazon.

Definitely sounds eerie, but upon closer inspection it looks half-a$$ed. I believe the craftsman could have done better if they weren’t so focused on mass producing this product.
