Like the size and the way it cuts. So far it's worked on all types of glass. I've even had some circles fall out of the piece I was cutting on. Makes nice clean edges on most glass. Some of the wispy have had some edges but that's to be expected.

I am new to stained glass and bought this to be able to cut circles. It requires plenty of room and some experience. I was able to master the scoring quickly but had issue with breaking the excess.

A fellow glass worker told me about this glass cutter. I’ve been working with glass for 35 years, and circle cutters are at PIA! I have to say I am greatly impressed with this tool. First try, cutting a piece of fusible glass.. made a perfect circle that I did not have to fight to get out. Mark your center, stick the suction cup down, and slowly run your circle. Do not go over it more than once! It dulls the blade and causes tiny fissures that lead to the glass breaking poorly. For those who say it does not come with instructions, mine did, so here’s a copy.

I tried to cut a whole in my glass, and it started to fail immediately. The suction cup did not work at all, it would stick for a second but about half way around the circle it would pop off. I went around the whole circle over 9 times and then hit and it SHATTERED THE ENTIRE PIECE even OUTSIDE of my cut mark!! It ruined so much glass!!! Take it from somebody who just lost all their glass, DO NOT BUY

Love it. It works very well. I have used it on thick mirrors and thin mirrors and once you get the hang of controlling the cut and learn how much force to tap it with, it's a blast.

Usually I rave about products but this circle cutter--well, I'm a work in progress. Never really coordinated and not particulary strong, I'm not doing as well as I had hoped. But I'm not giving up; I'm moving down to thinner glass and I got a grinder to help with the slightly uneven edges. I'm sure I will get it and I know the equipment is not the problem.

Heavy duty but very difficult to cut small circles with it as the arm hits the surface.
