I have used B+W filters for decades. Gradually moving up with their better items when I got new lenses etc. I was a little hesitant to spend the extra 20% for the T-Pro. Let's not forget - this is the ONLY one they give a 5 year guarantee on! However, since you can ACTUALLY TALK TO LIVE TECHNICIANS with B+W directly at the East and West Coast offices I was able to understood why and how an item could be this thin yet so strong and even better on the threading. The glass is just as thick by the way, it's the Brass/Titanium ring where the work went into and placing the glass in just right. The threading is so smooth you'll notice it immediately upon putting it on, because of this great German machining. it also does NOT need to be tightened much at all. (You should never over tighten these filters anyhow). Getting the filter off for cleaning is a cake walk. 16 coatings make this and their Master Series second to none in my opinion. I was also thinking the color could be a bit odd but it actually looks beautifully professional. I'm using this one on a Nikon AF-S 24-70mm F/2.8 VR ED so naturally I wanted it protected and to look nice and it actually added what I would call a "finished" look about it. Because it's thinner it visually comes across as part of the lens. But, that's my take. The truth is that you'll probably never see it much because you'll be using the Lens Hood so don't worry at all about it.It's a CLEAR AS A BELL in every way for me on my lens and making my shots come out as I really see them (as they should with a great filter). - I'm sure glad there are still companies committed to quality. I needed a filter to weather seal my Fuji X100VI and this clear filter works great. I have always had a good experience with B+W filters over the years and this one is no exception. It is perfectly clear and there is no perceived image quality difference with it installed.

Absolutely Crystal clear. Zero effect on image quality, and I mean zero. The nano coating is hydrophobic and makes it very easy to clean. The machining on the frame is perfect and has no binding. I put one on every lens right out of the box.

Delgado, ligero y realmente es como si no estuviera.Hay división de opiniones entre si realmente protege o no,pero a mà lo que más me interesa es que el lente de mi objetivo se mantiene limpioy por supuesto que protege.Y como es ultra delgado y ligero,en realidad ni pierde calidad a la toma ni le agrega peso.No es muy barato,Pero si tienes un buen lente objetivo necesitas un muy buen filtro.Si lo recomiendo.

Can't check the code on the filter as the website won't let me input the code that is on the package. Never bought a b&w lens that was in an unsealed box and the filter in a fabric bag. Will see if it screws up my photos and get back.
