It's hard to find a double-pan beam balance these days. This unit is an excellent design. And it does include a tare adjustment, something I don't think the product description mentioned. And although this is a full-size piece of lab equipment, it is only about 13 inches (~32 cm) long, overall. This means that it fits well on my lab counter top. Most single-pan beam balances are some 19 inches long!Love it!!

Wrong product was delivered. Website image and product description shows a yellow "cream" colored scale, but a gray scale was delivered instead. Plus, I placed an order that included a weight set, but somehow the order was switched to a scale that does not have a weight set.
