It's a bit on the thin side. The bottom half is stiff under the muslin and I'm not sure how well it would hold up to a lot of washes. The muslin, however, is nice and soft. It's a cute pattern and it makes a nice top. The underside gives it the 'waterproof' bit, but again no certain how well it'll hold up over time. It's a handy pad to keep for being out and about or to quickly cover a surface if needed. Nice overall!

I've been taking my little guy, whose growing way too rapidly, out and about and one thing I noticed about the changing pad that came with my diaper bag is it's not long enough. It's not wide enough. I'm trying to change my baby's diaper at target and that changing pad barely covers from his head to his butt and we're definitely not done growing. I was shocked! My baby's skin does not need to touch that diaper changing station. It was filthy - and I even wiped it down. But this - this is long and wide. It'll be perfect for us going forward. It's not padded, but he doesn't need it to be padded. He just needs it to keep his skin safe & and to absorb any pee.

I expected this to be slightly cushioned so that you can use this anywhere. But it's very thin. I wouldn't want to use this at the playground on a hard concrete bench.It is soft on one side and the other is waterproof, so any accidents won't go thru.

Before using, I washed on cold/delicate and hung to dry. It washed beautifully.The cotton side is very soft, and the plastic side is thick and sturdy enough to work but not so much that it is inflexible. Easy to fold or roll up for travel, folds up small enough to tuck into a gallon ziplock if it gets really dirty.Overall a great little pad to tuck into a bag and use on a changing table in a bathroom, etc.

One of the features that I really like about this pad was that it 100% muslin cotton front. I love that my baby is touching a soft, breathable fabric rather than plastic, which can often feel uncomfortable. The material is gentle on the skin, making diaper changes much more pleasant. This changing pad is also lightweight and portable, making it a perfect addition to my diaper bag for outings. I really like vintage print.
