These turned out really nice. Leather was thick enough you can sew beadwork on without pulling the thread all the way through, so no stitches show on the other side.

I thoroughly hated every second of this kit. I tried different tools, different string and I ended up saying NEVERMIND!See the photos attached:The instruction manual was laughable. The images were so blurry and faded I could hardly tell which side they were using. Nothing about that was clear. I had to go to the website of the manufacturer and study the images and put two and two toghether. It also wasn't obvious one had to hand cut the fringe, but that's a petty complaint.Next, my precut "preholed" pieces weren't pre holed. Infact, an entire boot I had to do my shelf with a sharp needle as a dull dowel wouldn't even pierce the holes. Additionally, when lining the pieces up to "find the center hole" (good luck) the pre cut pieces actually don't line up! Ha! And I lined up the only precut hole that i still had to punch completely as the circle 🔴 part was still attached.You probably see a completed baby moccasin in the photo next to the rubbish that is supposed to be this kit. This is from a competitors kit and clearly not a struggle for me to put together as disappointing as this one was.This kit needs serious quality control checks and improvements to its instruction manuals.

Do not bother with this kit, the leather is mismatched, holes don't line up, top of shoe does not stich together and looks nothing like the picture. Very cheap and useless bag of junk scrap leather pieces. Not at all like what is pictured. worst part is the top of the shoe just flaps and does not seam as shown in the picture. Going to return for a refund today. Not worth even $2. very disappointed and won't be ordering from this seller again.

Ya can’t buy the leather this cheap. The time savings on layout is worth it. Oh yeah, I’ve been doing leather work for over 50 years. Good kit. Just take your time. If they don’t look right the first go around take em apart and do it over. It’s about having fun.

These are soft and sweet, but not all the holes are punched all the way through and there were portions that were extremely difficult to get the needle through.
