Works great but lock in place does not

I bought this for my new baby nephew and he loves it , mom keeps it downstairs but easy to move around and up the stairs

UPDATE 3/9/2024: Grandbaby has been using this regularly and loves it. The DK feature, which when activated, begins to swing the stationary seat if baby begins to move or fuss. This feature works amazingly well. It comes on and stays on as long as baby is fussy, and then continues to gently rock baby until they are calm and relaxed, and the DK feature goes back into standby mode.What a wonderful solution for a new mom. This baby swing is like a pair of extra arms to help with baby. About 30 minutes altogetherConcerns:The one connection point between the power base unit, and the baby seat uses only 4 (included) screws. It feels to me that, that one connection point "may" fail at some point based on the constant movement from swing, and pressure from weight of growing baby.The sun shade/visor with attached mosquito net is very difficult to snap on and remove, which may discourage use.The base adjustment buttons are pretty difficult to depress and operate-especially the large round side buttons and rear button which need to all be pressed at the same time to make the swing as flat as possible for storage. The buttons for adjusting baby seat angle are hard to press but not impossible.The differences in the amount of swing "degrees" don't appear to change much between the 1 through 5 settings, but they do swing wider and narrower.There is a button marked "DK" on remote. It initiates the setting "Touch sense swing" which I ASSUME means the swing will start swinging if the baby wakes up after a timer session stops?? It's a nice feature if that's how it works, but I don't have my grand baby to test it out yet.My swing base/electronics section came assembled. I have Instructions that show the base unit needed to be assembled on a pin-that did not apply to this swing. And per the ad "It also up Disassembly for easy storage and transport"... I could not discern a way to easily disassemble this since it was completely screwed together. The most I could tell is to fold it as flat as possible for storage or transporting. *Not having the ability to separate the seat and the base in order to be stored almost flat, is the reason for reduction in stars.*Overall, I DO like this swing as it stands. Time will tell how durable it is from use. As of the date 2/17/2024, this is almost 100 doll hairs, which I believe is a good value.*Please view pictures and any video as I consider them part of my full review.

I bought this for my first grandbaby due in December 2024. Haven’t had a chance to use it but the fabric is soft and we did a trial run of the different modes. The lullabies, timer & Bluetooth were the main reasons I purchased this particular model. Will update once grandbaby is here.!

I got this for my 3 week old son because he always wanted to be on someone’s arms and started working from home( it’s hard to type with just one hand) and needed something to sooth him while he was up or to help put him to sleep. I am happy to say this has worked wonders and so far he is just staring at everyone and everything while on his swing
