My grandson is 8 months old and still unsteady with sitting. He will webble wobble and fall backwards every once in awhile. Scares me every time. You still have to be next to him as every once in awhile he falls sideways and the protection is only for the back of the head. Worth having as it protects him when falling backwards.

It is extremely well made! It is soft and the straps are adjustable. My baby is thin and petite and it fit him just fine. It does not wiggle around, it stays in place. Had this for 2 months now and it is still intact.

My little one is 10 months old and becoming more mobile. We have hardwood floors and after a few painful falls backward, I ordered this with the hope that he. wouldn't rip it off. Much to my surprise he pays ZERO attention to it. The whole piece is incredibly soft and cushioned. The straps are covered in the same soft material. It fits on him just like a bookbag. I love it!!
