Bought it along with Allora Flugelhorn for band mate and it improved tone on flugelhorn immediately. The combination of this mouthpiece and Allora flugelhorn can compare in sound to Chris Botti. I do recommend.

The four stars are because I'm not sufficiently accomplished with the instrument to judge the full capabilities of the mouthpiece. That aside, it fits perfectly in the leadpipe (confirming my assumption that my Hawk horn has a Bach or "small Morse" taper). It goes in a good ways, but well short of the rings machined below the cup. The 7C cup size and semi-sharp inside edge are comfortable, with no tendency to cut my lips. As my embouchure continues to improve, perhaps I'll move to a different cup size, but for now this one fills the bill. Notes seem to slot better than they did with the "no name" mouthpiece supplied with the horn.
