I think these are the “original equipment†stop rod nuts made by Bach, so if you lose the ones that came with your horn (I lost one—apparently, it’s a fairly common problem, even though it took me more than 50 years to lose one!!) you’ll want to pick up a set of these, unless you don’t think they’re that important..they don’t, of course, affect playability—I just bought them because I don’t like my instruments to be “incomplete.â€

I lost one of my nut screws and figured I’d give these a shot. They were a perfect fit and do not spin around after they are tightened on, which was the reason I lost one in the first place. Very pleased with my purchase!
