The house numbers are worth it. They're well made and look terrific. I wanted to replace the original house numbers because they weren't very legible from the street because they were lit overhead. The overhead light caused stark shadowing obscuring the actual numbers. The Luxyard numbers are clearly visible and no overhead light needed. I'm very happy with the results. Here are a few suggestions from my experience.1. Tape the house number templates on a piece of cardboard then tape the cardboard to the wall. It's much easier to get the templates perfectly aligned; it's easier to make adjustments if desired and it reduces outdoor work time.2. Space the numbers 1-1/2 inches apart if vertical. My numbers are 5" tall and 1" spacing, which results in overlapping backlight. If I did it over I'd go with 1.5" spacing.3. Use the optional mounting plate if your numbers are to be mounted on a wall that's part of the living space. You can parallel connect all the wiring behind the mounting plate and only need to deal with one wire pair to power all the lights. My installation is on a garage wall. Four pair of wires poking through the wall into the garage wasn't an issue for me, but would be a real pain if it was living space. Dealing with one wire pair protruding into the living space is at least less of a hassle.4. Make sure you use an adequate power adapter. My four lights draw 1.5 amps so a rated 2 amp (24 Watt) adapter is adequate. If you have five or more numbers then you'll need more than a 2 amp adapter.

I had been contemplating this purchase for a couple of years and I'm thrilled that I took the plunge. As you can see from the picture, it looks great! Nicely illuminated. Looks chic. Takes the exterior of your home to another level. The reason why I was hesitant is drilling through mortar to get on the inside is always a hassle for me. Yeah I could've used a longer drill bit but it was getting late and wanted to finish. Also, hooked up the numbers to a photo sensor.

These house numbers stand out. They are bright and feel well constructed. I hooked them up to a 12 volt DC landscape transformer so they turn on at dusk and off at dawn. I did run into a couple of issues…1) one number was an off yellow color while the rest were white but I got that swapped and 2) the templates don’t exactly line up with each other. I mounted the templates to a 1/4†foam board before I started drilling and that worked well. I’m very happy with the outcome.

So the only reason for the 4/5 stars is the instructions say once you've measured and drilled and install the anchors they want you to push the studs into the anchors. Well I feel they are too tight because when I was pushing the first number into place the clear plastic on the back snapped. So I swapped out the rest of the anchors for slightly larger ones. Had no issues pushing the other 2 numbers into place. Ordered a new '5' (the one i broke) and installed it with the slightly larger anchors and it also pushed right into place. So I guess I'm saying I recommend the product but would also recommend buying larger anchors that fit the studs.

Looks great, easy to install, need a 12v converter.

These numbers are great, but the light is very blue white and doesn’t match warm white lights. Wish I had read the fine print on the color temperature.

The components are high quality stainless front with1/2 Acrylic backs. A very heavy piece, that will take weather wear well. I used a separate 3/4" mounting board for my number because I did not want to drill random holes in my Garage's header board. I used a photocell switch so they are on only at night, they look great and very classy and I attribute to the high grade materials used in manufacturing. The only thing I did not like but was easily remedied was the 2 -18 gauge wire that go through the back are not snug in the hole that was drilled, in other words I felt moisture could get inside where the electronics are- so I used a small amount of silicone to plug it up- problem solved. I also used a longer mounting screw for the numbers and they pop out like 3D- very cool

Decent enough quality but the fact you have to buy new wiring, wire it yourself and that you have to buy a power supply on top. I wouldn't buy again. If the wiring was heavier duty, I'd over look the added cost of transformers.

Everything as expected. Really like the two sets of connection hardware for different type of installation. Very bright. I installed mine together with a power supply and light sensor switch from a Home Depot brand, and all works very well.

Bought these for the original letterbox, but with number of parcels NOT being left decided on Post & Parcel box. The worry was the black letters would not stand-out on the dark grey panelling. But with the white base & the stand-off brackets look great, visible at night from 20/30 metres.
