These inexpensive mesh coverings help keep debris out from underneath the seats. After reading horrible stories of Tesla owners getting marbles or screws stuck in the vent, I knew I needed to get these. Imagine the nonstop rattling noise if something were to roll around underneath the car. These mesh work just fine and the velcro is decent - I wish they were stronger. Also, they don't look the greatest (the plastic ones look better but have bigger holes) but they get the job done.

The mesh screen is simple, yet effective way to ensure nothing gets lost in the air vents. I didnt feel any loss of air. It is 2 minute install so you don't regret not having one later. It should have come standard with the Tesla Y.

If you have a MY or a M3, this cover is a must. Tesla does not provide covers/louvres for the floor vents under the front seats. It is very easy for small items (i.e. coins, candy, pebbles, pen, etc) that might fall under the front seat or gets pushed under the front seat by rear passengers could make its way into the floor vents. If so, it's impossible to get them out. Imagine every time you turn or accelerate/decelerate you hear something rolling around...I like these vs the plastic covers because the plastic covers can break/crack and pieces can fall into the vent. These are fabric covers with velcro fasteners. The velcro sticks along the entire 4 sides of the vent so nothing will get through.

These have really good velcro and are sized just right to fit my Model Y. I didn't know just how open those floor vents were until I saw these. Now nothing should be able to fall in there

I learned that the vents under the seats are wide open and are known to be very hungry! I drop plenty that ends up under the seat, so a cover over the vents is a requirement.Started with a plastic snap-in cover. Okay, better than nothing, but with 2 full-sized teenage boys that ride in the backseat and pay zero attention, I figured those would snap off at some point, leaving the vent wide open again.Decided that I'd check on how strong the Velcro was on these and either rock just these or, in combination with the plastic covers. After receiving these, I've decided to run in combination. The Velcro is strong, but not oblivious teenager strong. If you have oblivious passengers like I do, then you may want a combo coverage of your under-seat vents like this.

This is exactly what I thought when I saw the big air duct in the car. I wanted something to keep things for falling in there. This is a good size and stays put. This will work great.
