Product Description

ash vacuum cleaner

The BACOENG ASH200L ash vacuum cleaner is designed specifically for cold-ash pickup out of fireplaces, wood stoves, pellet stoves and BBQ grills. With its powerful 1200W motor, assorted nozzle attachments, and assorted selection of accessories, you can easily use the ASH Vacuum for most indoor jobs.

Equipped with a reusable HEPA and a washable filter bag, BACOENG ASH Vacuum traps fine dust particles and prevents stray particles from remaining in the air and settling in your home after you complete the job. In addition, the filtration system works at high speeds to ensure the motor remains free from damage caused by ash and dust.

Finally, the ASH Vacuum pays special attention to the details. These include:

-The motor’s over-heating prevention mechanism ensures your safety;

-The Vacuum’s design allows for convenient storage of basic product accessories;

Powerful Suction

The suction of the ash vac will decrease as the dirt increases (like any vacuum).

We have adopted a reasonable design including large-sized 5.3 Gallon canister and powerful 10Amp motor to ensure a continuous high suction.

This will greatly save your cleaning time compared to other mini versions.

Specification

  • 10Amp motor with heating protection brings plenty of suction power and ensure your safety.
  • 5.3Gallon metal canister provide sufficient capacity for dust and ash.
  • 5ft/1.5m extended lined-metal hose and 15ft/4.5m cable allow you clean all corners easiler.

On-board Storage

The Vacuum’s design allows for convenient storage of product accessories. All the included accessories can store away neatly on the vacuum’s caster feet or lid surface with integrated storage wells.

Dual Filtration System

Equipped with a reusable HEPA and a Dacron type filter bag, BACOENG ASH Vacuum traps fine dust particles and prevents stray particles from remaining in the air and settling in your home after you complete the job. In addition, the filtration system works at high speeds to ensure the motor remains free from damage caused by ash and dust.

Cleaning Reference Indicator

The indicator shows the ash coverage on the dacron filter surface. If the coverage reaches 100%, the indicator will turn full red. You can still continue to vacuum, but the suction power will decrease. At this point, emptying the canister and cleaning the dacron filter with a brush will restore optimal working condition of the ash vac.

Notice

1. Designed for cold ash pickup only.

2. Designed for dry application only, not suitable for wet use.

3. The filters take up some space, so it can actually hold about 3.5 gallons of ash and dust not full 5.3 gallons.

I purchased this product after my last ash vacuum just stopped working one day. At first I was a little hesitant because of the price but I decided to try it and I was not disappointed!I have been using this product since March of 2023 and it is still going strong. This ash vacuum is great! Here are my Pros and Cons:- Pros1. It's very light weight and Very easy to assemble.2. Size is reasonable for an ash vac, the one I had was smaller and this one hold twice the amount.3. Very easy to take apart and clean out. comes apart in 3 easy sections.4. The suction power is very powerful and awesome for really getting those bit of ash/dirt in the corners.5. Comes with a great set of accessories, I personally use the small brush head all the time.6. Reasonable price and quality parts.Cons: Not really any except the that maybe a better design for the part of the handle that will allow you to clamp the hose on to the unit for when you are done using it. Mine seems to not want to stay clamped on so the hose is always just draped on top of it when stored. I also wish they sold some of the accessory parts separate so I can get extras.I do suggest getting extra filter kit for this product because you will need to replace those eventually and it's probably good to just have them when you need them instead of having to wait for them to be shipped in.

Like the little vac. In my cleaning service we use it often, but the biggest complaint is the fact that it takes nothing to make it topple. Suction is good for a short while, easy to carry which is most effective. Short cord makes it essentially useless in construction without a long drop cord. It could use four rollers instead of three. And, a more flexible hose.

I love this little Vacuum. It will sit in the corner behind the wood stove during the months we aren't using the stove, but this vacuums up the ash that gets spilled when using an ash scoop. It is very convenient. I love it!

How many reviews start with "I really wanted to like this.."? This is another.This vacuum does have strong suction, and the power cord and vacuum hose are plenty long. It is a bit noisy, but not terribly so. As some have said, it is a little tipsy because the motor is on the top, but it is manageable if you're aware.Also not a real issue, but during assembly, pay attention to the locations to which you assemble the casters. The indicators on the bottom of the can might have you place a caster directly under the inlet - making the pocket on top of the caster assembly useless for storage of the extensions.Pay attention to the direction of exhaust and make sure it's opposite the intake, otherwise you get quite a breeze in the direction of pickup.The two real issues, for me, are that the hose can clog very (very) easily. In our fireplace, there are often chunks (essentially charcoal left after burning) which are too large for the hose. The metal nozzle is weirdly designed so that its intake is larger then the inside of the hose, thus can ingest a chunk which will lodge in the narrower section. I made a screen from hardware cloth which helps.The second is that the primary filter clogs very quickly and decreases suction rapidly. The "full" indicator is activated after a very short session. It IS fine ash, of course, but there's no easy way to clear this filter without disassembly (tapping on the metal can doesn't do much). Which, by the way, you won't wish to do anywhere you don't want ash on the floor.So, yes, I'm keeping it, but if I were starting over, I'd look for a unit with a 2 1/2 inch hose and a way (design or mechanism) to unclog the primary filter easily.

This ash sweeper has some serious suction power over my old ash vac , and I will tell yah this filter cleans up in nothing flat ,and the can chamber is taller so the ashes don't burn the filter as there being sucked in ,as in some.cases the ashes are still hot at the bottom and don't stop the sweeper in time this ones filter survives this , where as the 3 year old shorter ash vacum I burned up I dont know how many primary filters on jt ,no more will.have that happen to this one by bacoeng, its a v shape and however its been made this primary filter it cleans way easier than the older ash vacs I've had in the past 5 years. So anyway this taller can ash vac by bacoeng is money well spent . And its powerful

If you watch the videos, you'll see that users are cleaning up nothing more substantial than dust. I received this and tried to clean my fireplace after a fire that lasted for a long evening. The 1" hose, which is significantly smaller than, for example, a 2.5" ShopVac hose, clogs with anything larger than pure ash. If your fireplace fire has any cinders larger than 1/2", you can count on having to stop cleaning and fish them out of the hose. Unfortunately, I did not figure this out until after I had used it for about 10 minutes and the product was covered with ash.In addition to that use limit, the instructions specify that it cannot be used if ashes are still warm. So that limits its use for about 36 hours after a fire. And then there's the feature of the red indicator that shows when the cannister is "full". That occurs pretty quickly. Then you have to empty it out which is as dusty as simply sweeping the ashes into a receptacle.I guess I'm stuck with it now. I might use it to clean out the fireplace after light fires (which I never have) or maybe I can figure out an alternative use although my ShopVac is far superior for anything but ashes. You may get some use from it for light BBQ/grill cleanup but, honestly, I think this is of little benefit if only used for light jobs.______________________To their credit, the company refunded my purchase cost after reading the review.

Excellent suction until the filter clogs up. The filter will clog before the drum is full. When emptying you get covered in ash, so does everything else! I’m looking for a replacement now.

Bought this for a single purpose. Vacuum out my pellet stove. Works as advertised! Sounds like a small jet taking off. Power full for pellet stove cleaning.

Rides on three wheels instead of four. Making it pretty tippy since it’s so tall. Also, when vacuuming out my pellet stove, It Has to be fairly clean already. If it takes a big gulp of ash, they will plug off, and you will have to clean the filter before use again. On a good note does not blow any dust out the exhaust.
