I bought this as a Christmas gift for one of my niece and nephew. They actually took it out the box and the family assembled it on Christmas Day when we were inside watching football and had sooo much fun playing and they truly love it and played it so much during the Christmas & New Year holiday!! Such a great product.

I was able to assemble and get the net erected without too much difficulty. It takes at least two people though because one person needs to hold the pole up straight while another secures the guywires. My fiancee and I had a lot of fun playing badminton after everything was ready.The most notable problem, and the primary reason I'm taking off 2 stars, is because the spikes used to stick the two poles on each side into the ground are extremely cheap plastic. They got all twisted and bent when they hit small rocks in the ground. The manufacturer should really be using some sort of stainless steel, aluminum, or perhaps even pressure treated wood spikes instead. Even a higher quality, rigid plastic might suffice. I will give the manufacuterer credit though for providing an extra set of these cheap plastic spikes. Clearly they are aware of the issue. I do not expect the spikes to last and I'm certain I'll have to fashion some sort of homemade replacement the next time I have to erect the badminton net. I will most likely just fashion something out of wood. I supposed it's possible to discard the spikes altogether and stick the metal pole bottoms directly into the ground, but then of course the height of the net would be lower.The other notable issue I notice immediately out of the box is the cheap 100% plastic shuttlecocs. They do not use real or even synthetic feathers and they are too light weight to get enough distance. There is a clear and readily noticable difference in the aerodynamics and range you get from having a higher quality shuttlecoc.EDIT: The seller contacted me in response to this review. I am adding one additional star for having exceptional customer service! Kudos to the seller!

I cannot appreciate more about this best value set in terms of overall comparisons. The net is well designed in professional way with: (1) tightly lined up to ensure the middle is high enough to 5 feet, (2) smaller net gap of 1.2 inches to block the shuttlecock going through, (3) steady setting for both outdoor and indoor, which is much better than BOULDER 17 feet net. Besides, the rackets are light, well-balanced and particularly tight string tension likely over 20 lbs (much better than HIRALIY Badminton Rackets). It is really beyond my expectations. Overall rating given the price I paid, I would give the Patiassy badminton set 6 stars if I could.
