The blades are not sharp enough to cut the bagel. It smashes the bagel down. Some how I ordered 2 of them & both are equally bad!

I was so excited to try this product out. Sadly it was disappointing. I tried slicing slowly and quickly, the result was the same. It barely cut it and squished it. It doesn't even look like a bagel anymore!
