I've stopped using my built-in dispenser before because it's too damn hard to reach way back into the cabinet to screw the bottle on & off, and if I fill it from the top I overflow it and make a mess 9 1/2 out of 10 times! So when I saw this I thought... 🤔I gave it a try. I gave it 4 stars because it loses its prime once in a while. That said, I forgot to follow the instructions and do the original priming with water so that may be part of the issue. But it is SO convenient to have a nearly endless supply of dish soap AND to be able to easily SEE the level! I definitely have every intention to keep using it.

I was excited when I discovered this product because my soap dispenser was so difficult to fill that I had abandoned it.Installation is fairly straightforward. However, I initially found that despite the one-way valve, the line would slowly lose its prime meaning that I would have to pump 20+ times to get the soap back up to the dispenser. I was about ready to leave a bad review when it dawned on me that perhaps the one-way valve was position-dependent. As a last-ditch effort, I measured the depth of the soap container and then used some tape on the tube to make sure that the tube would not quite reach the bottom of the soap container (allowing for the valve to lay on its side rather than remain verticle). A day later the dispenser still has kept its prime, so I am hopeful it will work out after all. In case anyone else experiences difficulty with losing prime, I hope they see this before giving up and tossing the device.This is an update to my initial view:My victory was short-lived and my dispenser is consistently losing prime. If I mess with it, the oneway valve sometimes seals completely, but most of the time once I pump again the one-way valve fails to seal and it loses its prime.

My husband put tubing on my dispenser years ago but it never worked right. He thought I was crazy to spend $12 on this tubing kit but I was right! This tubing fits perfectly, doesn’t leak, and pumps up easily. I should have ordered this years earlier. I stick it in the lid of my Costco size dishwashing soap bottle and forget it. Worth it!

My product did have instructions, but they were not helpful. The tube, as others have mentioned, most likely won't fit properly as instructed. We had to use out do a little tweaking to get it to work. First, we used the tube that came with the pump to insert into the hose because the pump did not fit as instructed. We then had to cut the hose so that it wasn't so long and the weight at the bottom could properly do the job. It was not as "plug in play" as the instructions make it seem or as simple as it should have been. Once we finally got things working, it's great, but which there were either better instructions for different scenarios or a tube that actually fits the pump.
