The Baker E35-75BS Brass Thermowell allows a thermometer to be removed from a system without disturbance. The thermometer is inserted and tightened to the separable socket by means of a threaded swivel nut coupling. For use with the Baker 9VU Series Industrial Thermometers.

Works well, and more durable than the bronze versions offered by other manufacturers. Just be sure to allow adiquate space for fluid ( I use in 1" pipe) and keep the tip at least 1" away from any turbulent flow.
