These are great for my babies playpen. I was going to order a normal mat but they were 2x the price. These fit great in my babies 65x50 playpen. We still have quite a few extra that we will use in the basement. They’re super cute, nice and squishy, while still being firm.

I originally ordered this for my 1 year old son, so that he could play in his room and learn how to walk safely. The foam pieces fit together snugly and come with plenty of border pieces (although the end pieces don't always fit together perfectly). Almost a half-inch thickness, which is not terribly cushy, but comparable to other brands. Another unforeseen benefit is that they offer a temperature cushion on cold hardwood floors. All in all, they work for their purpose. The only issue I had was that each set, while interchangeable, are produced with different tactile roughness (the imprint on the tops).

I spent a lot of time trying to decide which mat or tiles to choose and I’m happy I chose these. They work great and are easily wipeable. Most importantly, they add a layer of firm cushion.

Heads up that the colors on this playmat are a bit more muted/closer to pastel than the pictures show but that's exactly what I was looking for since I prefer muted colors. I use this for a different kind of toddler, the type that can fly (a parrot) to cover the area beneath his cage since I have carpet. It's made cleaning so much easier and it also just looks really cute. It stays together surprisingly well on carpet. If you intend to use this for a kid that's gonna run all over it though you should probably expect a bit of separation, but walking on it in my experience has been perfectly fine. It didn't smell that much, but I would air it out for good measure anyways.

Beware of this product. I just returned mine. It’s so fake and dirty with the very faded colors. Looks like it was used by some other households. Just beware of the reviews saying it has good quality. Check the country of reviews before you believe it. But here in UAE, you will receive a VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING PRODUCT!

I thought the quality would be a bit better. It serves for the purpose, but the plaques are kind of thin and flimsy to my taste. My son can easily detach one to put in his mouth and he’s still a baby.
