It's OK, but it doesn't stay in place very well. It's weight is so light it makes it too easy to slide out out of place, and I am constantly putting it back in place. I do like that the corners are rounded so no sharp edges which is a plus.

The cat step is great for older cats that may have difficulty moving about. Also, my litter box is large to accommodate my other cat who is 22 pounds! Now they both have a lively high step!

Be sure to measure your box, this is only 3.5 inches tall. For our automatic box, a two step would have been a better fit.The reason for the three stars is because it lacks rubber feet. We have tiled floors, and the step slides easily on the floor. Not good for aging kitties! I added some feet to it and it's more stable now. A product for cats needing extra footing to get into a litter box should be sure it's good footing on any floor surface.

I put this under one of our automatic litter boxes and it does catch litter on the way out from our kitties’ grubby paws… I like the compact size for my own space concerns, but it’s really a bit too small. They do use it as a step in the box opening but it’s not long enough for them to truly step out and make contact with all paws on the way out to catch all the grits. Often, they jump over it to get out…I’ve ordered several of these type of steps from other companies and this one by far is the most well made, sturdy and thought out, which is why I rounded my rating up to 4 stars. Other than it needs a few improvements still. I think it would be great for a small kitten once they are big enough to use an automatic box, or an elderly kitty… But our youngest just turned a year old and he sails over it just like his 3 year old siblings… For a spry kitty, it needs to be longer. Otherwise, it’s great. I’ll keep using it, before we know it they’ll be elderly too and thankful for it.

This step is great for my senior cat to step on to get into the kitty litter box. She has bad arthritis and this really helps her.

I got this for my elderly cat to offer her a step up into the litterbox and to help collect litter from her feet upon exit. While it appears to help somewhat, I have noticed more excess litter than expected trailing from the litterbox to the door of the room. Full disclosure: my cat has a kidney condition and is near the end of her normal life span, which may contribute to an inability to navigate around the waste in the litterbox upon her exit, so my experience might be a bit skewed. I do find some collection of litter in the base of the step, so it is definitely mitigating some of the tracking. All in all, I do think this is a good addition to the entryway of the litterbox.

I love how it has holes so if litter falls from their feet, it’s easy to empty very nicely made and sturdy. Nice little step not too big not too small.

I have two metal cat pans in use, one of them has a similar litter ramp that works well. This product has a little more of a rounded front edge. It seems to work better for the cats as they enter and exit the pan. Much of the litter in their paws is trapped in the container as they step on it. We now have less loose litter and dust on the floor near the pan. One of our cats only has three legs which makes it hard for him to climb over a high litter box ledge. The little storage area underneath is nice though I do not think we will get much use out of it.
