I was looking for a replacement for my jersey knit pillow cover that came with the Pharmedoc C-Shaped pregnancy pillow which I purchased 6 years ago. The cover was pilly and worn. It was also HOT. I purchased this Satin Pregnancy Pillow Cover to solve these issue. It works wonderfully!First, I test-fit the pillowcase on my pillow prior to washing. It fit, so I felt comfortable laundering. I washed it with the rest of my pillowcases without causing any damage. I also machine dried the pillowcase on low. It fit exactly the same before and after laundering. It can take some maneuvering to get the pillow in the case, but that's no different than the one that came with the pillow. I had no issues with seams breaking or separating as some other reviewers had mentioned.The pillowcase is soft and cool. I would compare it to some of the satin pillowcases I've purchased from Amazon for curly hair and skin care. I've spent the past few nights with this pillowcase on my pillow and it's working well. Pillowcase selection is limited for c-shaped pregnancy pillows. This one is definitely worth a try if you get hot while sleeping, have curly hair and don't like wearing a bonnet to sleep, or just need a replacement for a worn out cover.
