Don'y know if it because of the size but it feels really strong. It is in a spot that will be weathered and I think it will standup well.

Quality? Filter is ruined, it was delivered at my gate and sat in the wet yard, the filter was out of the box inside so moisture and rain water permeated into filter pleats, it’s no good now. Functionality? I’ll never get to use it because it’s wet and non functional because of being delivered in wet grass. Value for money? Would have been great if it was delivered to my door or garage and kept dry and useable, instead it was sat at my roadside gate in wet yard. Fit? It would have never fit to begin with besides being delivered in wet grass and ruining the filter, because the filter gasket is not the correct gasket and is oversized and literally slides over the O.D. outside of filter. I’ve seen other reviews on this issue.

Seems okay, wrong sized gasket. I returned it an had Amazon send another. Same issue. Maybe an issue with the particular lot they have in the KC area? The gasket from the one I’m replacing will likely work.

this is the second filter bought from Baldwin, wrong gasket both times. I had to reuse the old one. Was larger than the outer lip of the filter, crazy!

Works on north star 32 ton log splitter and is less expensive than buying fron Northern Tools. For some reason it's hard to cross reference their filters with others. Just saying.
