Put a kit on my 2006 Duramax when first purchased and have been using it since. Cleaned a lot of black flakes out of coolant when the truck was newer. My friend has a 2007 put a water pump on in January 2022. Same mileage approximately, my coolant still looking good. Cut open last filter hardly any debris. Good filter!!!

Must buy if you have an external coolant filter set up. Especially after fixing cracked heads to filter out remaining diesel. Also to prolong the life in your oil cooler which is a semi expensive job if you don't do it yourself.

I use this filter on my 2006 Ford 6.0, and have used these filters for years. It definitely filters our a bunch of jump in the cooling fluid. You would think these filters would be stock from the factory.

I used this filter to replace my Wix on my sinister coolant filter set up. I use baldwin filter on my tractors so I am familiar with their quality. 1000 miles in and no leaks.
