This is EXACTLY what I was expecting and looking for.I discovered this size of Mason jar one day at a local store. I was looking for something to make a bigger quantity of sauerkraut. I bought it. I realized I was using it for everything I needed a slightly bigger size.What this is:This is the real deal. I went for my 64 ounce jar and realized it was not usable because I had soybeans fermenting it for miso. I thought I would run out to the store and just buy another one. No can do. There were none in stock at the two local stores. Next best thing was to check Amazon. I was shocked to see I could buy two for a few dollars more than I would have paid for one. It is a great size and wouldn't mind having another one on hand.Upon arrival:I receive two authentic Mason Ball jars with two wide mouth lids. They arrived in great condition. Wrapped in bubble wrap. Not broken or chipped.The size of this:This is a half gallon sized jar. 64 ounces. 8 cups.What I love about this:It is taller and not so stout. Takes up less space in my fridge this way. It fits nicely on the shelf next to my drinks without taking up a lot of space like a stout jar.A Widemouth lid fits this! I loved this also when I discovered it. No special sized lid. Just a wide mouth that I have plenty of on hand.5 stars- this is an authentic Ball Mason jar. The real deal. Comes with the two lids. To buy two is saving money. I think I paid around $15 for just one at the local store. This was 2 for $20 at the time of purchase.

These are great for storing food and this brand is always quality. The jars came in tact (no breakage or cracks) and the lids seal nicely. These are my go to jars.

I’m transitioning from plastic to glass and these jars or great for that. The wide mouth makes them easy to clean and use. I got a stainless steel funnel that helps when putting leftovers in.The 64oz size is great for storing grains, leftovers (especially pasta, rice, soup, etc.), or sliced fruit as pictured. They’re versatile, sturdy, true to picture, timeless, and will last forever.I got some stainless steel and some silicon lids that are all one piece just to make dish washing time and storage a little easier on me, but the lids that came with the jars worked well, too.

After ordering this package of 2ea 1/2 gallon Ball jars from another Amazon supplier who couldn't deliver after nearly 3 weeks of waiting, I placed a new order through the Ball store. In stock, shipped and delivered early. Quickly put to use upon arrival. Just what I needed and expected.

I use these for cold brew. Ball once produced stellar glass jars that lasted forever. Lately there have been visible seams in the glass and little imperfections. They don’t affect daily use, but they reduce the life of the jar considerably. Still, good value if you need 64 ounce jars.

Llegaron rotos. Vienen mal empacados y al ser de vidrio se quiebran super facil. Son bonitos pero no los recomiendo porque el empaque era ridiculamente debil pa algo de vidrio.

No es justo que venga roto, tantas medidas que existen para que venga tan mal empaquetado. Cómo me pueden ayudar? Me urgÃa tener las dos piezas.
