My daughter was thrilled when she saw the big, colorful box it came in. The box itself is sturdy and can be used as a wardrobe trunk for the unicorn, which adds to the fun. The unicorn is impressively tall, around 18 or 19 inches, and has embroidered features. Its body is soft and muslin-like, and the feet and horn are made of plush and shiny materials. The unicorn comes with multiple outfits, each with its own unique textures and colors. The dresses and skirts are easy to put on and take off, thanks to the velcro closures and elastic waists. My daughter loves the variety, especially the pink dress with sequins and the lilac skirt with a tulle overlay. The accessories, like the gold wings and the soft fur collar, are easy to attach and add a lot of imaginative play value.Everything feels well-made and durable, which is important when you have a young child who loves to play rough. The feet/hooves are a soft pink plush, and the horn is a shiny gold with a crown of dainty flowers.CLOTHES AND ACCESSORIES:She comes dressed in a dress with a blue top, soft pink collar, and a pink polka-dot skirt with a tulle overlay. The pink skirt is very soft-- a different fabric from the blue top-- and has raised black polka dots. With the tulle, it's a pleasant variety of textures and fabrics. The dress has a velcro closure at the back.There is also a pink sweater. It's pullover style and would be easier to get on and off if it also had a velcro closure. It pairs with a satiny lilac skirt that has a matching purple tulle overlay and a pink ribbon detail at the waist. The skirt has an elastic waist and is easy to get on and off.There is another pink dress. This one has a top with tiny pink sewn-on sequins. It has a pink double-layer tulle skirt with polka dots in the same color. Words cannot convey just how much my 3 year old daughter LOVES this toy. My Husband witnessed a little girl with an identical ballerina unicorn at a birthday party, that little girl misplaced it and the whole party grinded to a halt because she was so upset until it was found. He immediately thought our daughter would love this toy and asked me to order one. I must be honest, I didn't think she would treat it any more special than her other stuffed toys, she has so many.... I was wrong! Something about this sweet little unicorn really makes it stand out to her, as she fell in love with it on first sight and it has become her lovey - she hasn't slept without it since she got it. I'm thrilled because it really is such a lovely girly snuggle buddy. It has such a sweet face and the little clothes it comes with are absolutely darling. I think it would make a great gift, little ones sure do LOVE things that come with accessories and this does not disappoint. Also worth noting, because the ballerina shoes have long laces and need to be tied, my 3 year old is learning how to tie a bow with this and really figuring it out - I'm impressed.Overall, this is a GREAT toy worthy of being a beloved bedtime buddy for years to come. I'm so glad my Husband talked me into getting it, it's a treasure!
