These planes were very lightweight and flimsy. Easy to break tail section

My 5 yr old Grandson excitedly waited for these. He wanted the kind Grandpa grew up with. They arrive and are happily opened and assembled. He had his squadron at last! He knew how to fly them as he's had other types. Within the first few flights, half of them were broken. One only lasted one flight. It was a good flight too, but upon landing, it disintegrated. So I'm sure you can tell this was not the expected outcome. So we have broken planes and a very unhappy grandson who doesn't even want to see a plane. Let alone play with one. Not good. So, the short of it is; we won't be buying them again or telling anyone else to buy them.

These were very popular back in the old days. Very cool flying planes that are an upgrade over the paper planes. Very easy to put together and is very giftable. Recommend.

I used to get these for Christmas as a kid and decided I would continue on the tradition. Got them for my three boys and they love to play with them. They're easy to put together and seem to be about the same quality as the ones I got 30 years ago. They definitely will end up broken but not after a decent amount of fun

. Well I got them for the grandkids and it was a big hit. So if you throw them right they can really sail a while. I remember paying a quarter for these back in the 1960s. I highly recommend them for a nice fun toy for your grandkids. We spent about 20 or 30 minutes throwing these around the front yard

The way the tail is cut the glider always wants to pull up resulting in a short flight or a nose dive. Not worth it, do not buy.
