This simple toy was one of my Grandson's favorite Christmas gifts. The hammer plays a very cute jingle when it strikes anything, so even if the recipient is not old enough to hammer the ball into the hole, the jingle plays the great sound anyway! It only took a minute for the 15 month old to get the hang of the object of the game, and it kept his attention for a very long time! I would recommend this toy.

My 1 yr old grandson loves this toy! The recommended age listed on the box is 3 yrs old. I correctly gauged it to be better for a 1 year old. I think a 3 year old would get bored with it quickly. Really fun and captivating for a 1 yr old. Sturdy, brightly colored and well made with lots of options for play. The noise making/light function on the hammer can be turned off in case it gets annoying for the adults in the room!

This was a Christmas gift for our grandson. He is 10 months old. He enjoyed using the hammer to hit the balls. My son and his wife were happy with our gift for him.

Just received this yesterday & while our 10 month old granddaughter can't wield the hammer yet (she immediately stuck it in her mouth) I have no doubt she will love it when she can knock the balls down. The hammer makes a cool noise & lights up. She loves that! Great toy, sturdy & great fun for Gma for now..lol!

I wish I hadn't bought this toy for my 1 year old. She definitely cannot hammer the balls through the holes, it's even hard for an adult to do. It also doesn't have rubber feet so it is very loud on a wood floor and slides around. The ball rack at the top doesn't fit all of the balls in, and they don't stay in that rack, and the hammer's sound is overly loud. I wish I could return it but I already recycled the box.
