Purchased to reduce wind noise when exercising outdoors (walking, skating, bicycling). They did a good job at reducing wind noise, but were very uncomfortable within a short time span (~10-15 minutes).

The description, "Our ear covers are made of plush..." the material is NOT "plush" it is thin foam. Like the foam used to be used over stereo speakers years back.Be sure to size correctly. If you size too small, putting your ear inside this cap, that stiff band, HURTS.I am using these differently. I am using them as a protective cover over my ear, to protect them whiile laying my head on an ice pack. With the caps on, I don't feel the freezing cold on my ear. I can't speak to the effectiveness in chilly cold air and / or wind.I bought 2 pair, going to send the 2nd pair back.
