I do a lot of work with agricultural equipment, and I would say more than 90% of the commercial applicators I have been around, use a Banjo strainer, of this style. I think the reason for that, is that it is probably the best-made strainer for the money, at least of the ones I have been around.Other plus features, would be it is USA made, and parts are easily available. There are better ones, and there are cheaper ones, but I don't know where you could find a better one, for cheaper.
