Im going to use it as a oil filter for a waste oil furnace it should last as long as my old filter . Its well made !

The clear plastic bowl split from the pressure of my pump on the first use. My pump has an operational pressure relief and doesn't even develop the pressure of most modern residential sprayers. There is no way I could have damaged the plastic bowl by hand tightening it just enough to seal. It's clearly a design or manufacturing flaw.

Bought this to install before my house filter to capture the large rust chucks. I prefabricated all the mating components before shutting off the pump and draining the pressure tank to complete my installation of a new house filter and this screen as well as new shut off valves to place the ones that did not seal and did not actually shut anything off. The housing cracked as soon as I tightened the fitting leaving me with no water and searching for a rapid interim solution to restore water to the house before my children's bath time. Less than impressed.

This strainer is exactly what I needed for a sprayer that I built for a JD Gator. It captures particles and will not let them get to the nozzle to clog it. I like the clear glass to be able to see liquid flowing through the strainer and also be able to see if there is a lot of debris in the strainer. It pictures was item I received and in a timely manner.
