You can charge them with the USB cable, or drop in charger. It's nice to have a battery that lasts much longer than the original.

If you are in the market for a new battery and find the Baofeng line to be generally too small for your hand, this is the absolute solution. These rounded out the ergonomics on these small radios, which still fit in cheap radio molle pouches, if not better than before. Paired with the ABBREE antenna, I was pulling in weather band in the middle of my house no problem without chopping. The extra slide distance allows you to store this with plastic in the battery connector, so you're not constantly turning these radios on by accident in storage, too. USB charger is awesome but I think the light is upside down. Cable durability is most questionable part of the kit but I have no torn it apart to confirm this claim. Nice overall.

Batteries fit my UV-5RX3 perfectly! Abit loose on my UV-5R GMRS radios but works just fine. Charging cable is some what Wonky, have to turn the barrel end of cord to get the green light to red light for a full charge. Charges in the cradle fine, I'm not super picky so I think they get the job done ok. Now if they put a usb-C port were the barrel port is they would have a Winner!

This battery is larger than the original. It will transform your UV5R into a workhorse HT. The USB charging cable can adapt to all sorts of power options. Would recommend to anyone that needs reliable communication. Does not add a lot of weight. Works well with the belt clip.
