I broke my original power supply for the charger base and it was cheaper to buy this instead of a replacement power supply.No issues with the replacement set works exactly my original charger set.

Lost the charger for my radios, this replacement works perfectly. Only thing to watch for is to be careful to line up the metal things on the back of the radio with the charger; the radio needs to slide into place, not just be set down. It took us a few tries to realize this but yup, works great!

I bought this to replace the charger I already have because it came with a European plug and not US. Both this base and the base I have are marked as model ch-8 but this one was too big so the contacts did not touch the battery contacts. The power cord fits the base I already have which is all I wanted this for anyway.

Todays Baofeng UV-82 charge bases do not say anything on top where charge light is. Also on Bottom no Baofeng logo. I have purchased 4 from diff sellers, all look the same, plain with light in front. What matters is one received have 6.9v when I inserted in base. Immediately went to charge mode (red light). Topped off after 4 hours at perfect 8.4 volts which is identical to original one that came with radio. Some shut off at 8.1 and when I place them in factory base, it brings them to 8.4. This one received performed exactly as a true Baofeng circuit should, up to 8.4 volts, then green light on base. Good buy for the $$
