Honestly it's a pain to do this, but I'd rather use these sensors instead of buying stock. they needs a little more finesse but they do the job pretty well.

These are no different then OEM..they keep the light off and that’s all you need them to do until they pop and make it come on for a brake change. And it take 10 minutes to do.

Went to install these on my 2003 mini Cooper S and the plugs are not compatible with my cars wiring harness. Unfortunately I’m 2 days outside the return window. Maybe these fit the r50 but not the r53, though the description says they should fit.

True test is how will it hold up to road grime, salt, general flexing due to suspension movement.
