Easy to use, simple and works great. My gym doesn’t have clips…. So these are easy to carry around and they work great. They hold tightly without slipping and are fun to use cause they are like the snap bracelets we had in the 90’s!!!! So far they have held up well and fit tightly on the bar.

I bought a barbell recently with accompanying plates; however, the set came with clips that were so difficult to get over the barbell to lock in the plates. I got so frustrated that I began looking for other clips and came across these Snap Clips and boy, am I glad I did. These are so easy to put on, with a simple slap so to speak and just tighten. They really hold the plates in place without moving and I have used 40lbs up. I think they are great and are such great alternatives to the regular clips that can sometimes be so cumbersome to put on. Highly recommend purchasing.

These are super easy to use and do the job they are designed to do. For no bigger than they are and as easy as they go on, you might not expect them to work as well as they do, but they work perfectly. They are not exactly as pictured as the pictured item has two separate pieces of velcro so you can utilize them on more than one size bar, and the ones I received only have one piece of velcro to secure to so they can only be used on the Olympic size bar. The rubber strip started to peel off one of the clips, which was a little disappointing. But upon contacting Snapclip, they immediately offered to replace the clips. Love a company that backs their product! Will continue to use Snapclips with ease.

Snapclips are so much easier to use than traditional barbell clips. The clip on like an old school slap bracelet and the velcro closure holds them tight. I have used them for several lifts including snatches and cleans without the Snapclips slipping or coming loose. They are also easy to remove if you have to change weights in the middle of a workout. If you are tired of fighting with traditional clips I would recommend the Snapclips.

Overall, I really liked these. I was uncertain about how functional they could be, especially when I can get regular clips for about half the price. But I ended up buying a set (in red). For my use case, they do really well.I don't drive so I end up carrying everything, and I mean everything I could use for work and gym on my back. That adds up-- the biggest advantage of Snapclips is that they're both very light, only a few ounces, and they can be stored flat-- which means that they don't take up much volume in my pack-- they can go right along the wrestling shoes I use for deadlifts. They're good for what I call a horizontal load-- you can see in both these photos, I'm using them with an EZ-Curl bar. They are also great for deadlifts and bench presses, when properly snapped in place and the velcro wrapped properly, even doing curls with 45 lb. plates on the EZ curl bar there is nearly no travel. What I would NOT suggest, is using these with a vertical load-- so say, one of those dumbbells that are basically tiny weight bars that you can load Olympic Plates on, and do overhead triceps presses.I would also discourage these from being used in Olympic-style movements such as a clean and jerk because while they're pretty good at dealing with wobble, I'm not convinced they would be entirely safe with a bunch of snapping and spins as you would see in Olympic lifts. However, for what I personally use them for, even if it's a barbell loaded up with 4-5 plates on each side, it'll hold so long as there is enough room on the bar. And even jutting out partially because there isn't much room left on the bar, it's still better than nothing. The other downside I've noticed, is the thing that makes them so great to carry, is it also makes them easier to lose-- I've been able to carry these in my gym shorts all curled up, but I must have not been paying attention I left one on the floor so now I have 2 yellow snap-clips and 1 red snap clip.At 30 bucks a pop, I don't want to keep losing them though.Should you get these? Sure-- especially if you're looking for a very compact, portable version of those big clunky plastic clips that get thrown into your gym bag. They're deceptively grippy and punch above their weight.

As the title says, it could be inflation but I would only dock it a smidge for that, as I've had some purchased before at a little lower of a price. Either way, great product, nice and quick and I use them daily!

I wanted to believe in this product, but it easily slips off the barbell no matter how tight I try to apply it.The problem I have is that even with the tightest hand placement of the clips on the bars it stills move the weights around. I see a market for your product for simple bench presses where weights don’t have a lot of motion, but not heavy drops or adjustable dumbbells. For that I’ll up my rating slightly.

Rubber gripping holds tight. The idea is great and beats using the clips at the gym. Quick and easy to use.
Duty charge more than the product

Listen I love these clips. I had a black pair and ordered this new pair because I love them so much. But when they got delivered there was a $35 duty charge. So any Canadians be warned that the duty will be more than double the price of the product

It’s amazing how game changing this is, you won’t know you need this until you get it, everything else feels troublesome to use now.If you are considering, definitely give it a shot!

Simple enough idea but in practice doesn’t hold up. Doing deadlifts the plates wander further and further to the edge unless you readjust. Save the coin and just get regular snap on collars
