Perfect for my art project! It is flexible enough to work with easily (I actually used just my hands for a lot of it), but holds its shape really well. It handled tools without marking up a lot, which was nice. It is nice and thick for my sculpture, so it shows it's shape from a distance as well as up close. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be.

I used this wire in a couple of my sculptures and jewelry. It is a great deal. It worked great for what I needed it for. Not as soft as wire purchased from jewelry supply. I will order this again.

Made a Byzantine bracelet out of this wire. I would recommend a smaller gauge 16 or 14, especially if you are hand sawing.

Beautiful and surprisingly easy to work with. This relatively thick wire made solid bracelets and sturdy shapes and frames for hanging mobiles. I'll need more soon.

Product is as expected. I wonder about the "dead soft" rating, as it feels quite stiff. But I have not worked with 12 gauge copper before, so I don't know how malleable dead soft should feel. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the spool of wire came so tightly shrink-wrapped that it took me 15 mins just to get the plastic off so I could begin using the wire! The upside is that the wire is clean and bright.

Exactly as described Bare 12 gauge copper, listed as "soft-temper" and I would say it's half-hard. Copper at this gauge can be bent by hand a couple of times and then you must anneal to work it further. It is bare copper and ready to oxidize to your desired finish. I would definitely purchase again.

Great heavy copper wire. It was sent quickly and wrapped well to protect it from tarnishing. I will be buying more for my art projects. Also it is the stated length.

As someone else has stated, this is not 12 guage wire. I ordered it twice and both times received 22 gauge. This product should be removed.
