I bought this to train my dog to stop barking but after the second or third time using it, he kept barking no matter what I did. Also it vibrates in my hand, it's not supposed to do that. I wasted my money again.

Seems to work on my barking grand dog. His dad will try it on walks that are particularly challenging. He barks at EVERYTHING.

This product works very well. Does not cause pain and has helped with barking and jumping when people come over.

My Siberian is energetic, playful, and completely unaware of social boundaries. She's not aggressive but, because of her size and weight, could cause injury. She was professionally trained to respond to a shock collar in behavioral basics, but wearing the collar, I FELT, was uncomfortable for her and painful, which could result in aggressive behavior that I don't want. I achieved the same results from the BarkGuard as I had with the shock collar instantaneously, without electric probes pinching into her skin. Her "bad (imposing) behavior is quickly corrected without pain. A side benefit is that when in public with her, I don't have to defend myself to those who feel a shock collar is cruel to use on a dog. I like it because it works, and I get the result I need for a big 80 lb dog that still thinks of herself as a puppy. If there is a downside, it's that being a sonic tool, other animals, within range, also are affected by it.
