This is really cute. I worried from other reviews that the lid would be hard to get off but that is not the problem I have. If you use the handle to pull it off it works fine. I just cant get it on well. I have to really jam it down hard each time because of the fit of the rubber ring. For the price, I am not happy with this. Otherwise it holds a lot of cat treats and it a cute add over just a plain container.

It is supposed to be a cat but the ears on the lid are the only thing that really point to it being a cat. I'm a dog person so I can pretend it isn't a cat ;-)I needed something for storing coffee beans. I was really surprised when I first got it because the lid was not coming off. I'm really glad for those ears because I used them as leverage to wiggle the lid back and forth. It took several minutes to get it off that first time. It's a good thing that it is thick and sturdy or I might have broken it. I washed and dried it and put coffee in it and put the lid back on. The lid was a little easier to get off but was still on really tight. That isn't a bad thing because you want to keep the air out for most things you would put in this so they don't get stale. I think I saw a dog version but it wasn't in stock at the time. I have another bag of coffee beans to store so I think I'll get the dog one when I find it and I'll have a set.

With the gasket used for lid iI struggled to pull lid off easily because of the awkward small knob handle. Literally chipped a piece of the container off first time opening. Because of the design and materials I really think this is overpriced. More like $20 or below price tag would be reasonable.

Exactly what I was looking for! I love the wide opening making it easy for my husband with large hands to also easily use. The only thing I'm questioning is how air tight it is. I am concerned that soft treats will harden as it doesn't seem to be air tight.
